The free trial
There is nothing to cancel. The trial does not turn into a paid plan automatically, and we never ask for a card to start it. When it ends, you have 14 days to export your files or choose a paid plan. After that, trial files are deleted.
How to cancel a paid plan
You can cancel at any time, in any of these ways:
- In your dashboard: go to Plan and usage, then select Cancel subscription and confirm. You will see a confirmation on screen and by email.
- From your Paddle receipt: every receipt contains a link to manage or cancel your subscription.
- By email: write to support@photopostman.com from your account email address. We will confirm when the cancellation is done.
You do not need to give a reason, talk to anyone or agree to marketing to cancel.
To be confirmed a public cancellation page with a clearly labelled cancellation button, reachable without signing in, may be required for consumers in Germany (§ 312k BGB) and France. It will be linked here once built.
What happens after you cancel
- Nothing changes until the end of the term you have paid for. Your galleries, transfers and allowances keep working until then.
- When the term ends: galleries and transfers close to guests, and new uploads stop.
- For 14 days afterwards: you can sign in and export (download) your hosted files.
- For 90 days from the end of the term: your hosted files are kept in the recovery archive. To restore them, choose a paid plan again with enough storage before the deadline.
- After 90 days: the files are permanently deleted.
Cloud-connected originals stay in your own Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive. They are not affected by cancellation, and they are not covered by the recovery archive.
You can change your mind and resume your subscription at any time before the term ends.
Refunds
Paid plans are sold by Paddle as merchant of record, so refunds are paid by Paddle to your original payment method. Paddle's buyer terms and refund policy apply in addition to this page.
- Cancelling mid-term stops the next renewal. We do not refund the unused part of a monthly or annual term, unless a statutory right applies or one of the cases below applies.
- We will refund the unused, prepaid part of your term if we end the service or your account without you being at fault, if you cancel because you object to a new subprocessor, or if you cancel because of a material reduction of the service under our Terms of Service.
- Billing mistakes, such as a duplicate charge, are always corrected. Contact support@photopostman.com.
- Price changes never apply to a term you have already paid for, and you can cancel before a new price takes effect.
Your statutory right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For PhotoPostman:
- the 14 days start on the day you buy the subscription;
- to withdraw, tell us or Paddle clearly within the 14 days, for example by email to support@photopostman.com or by using the link in your Paddle receipt;
- if you asked for the service to start straight away, and it usually does, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the days you used before withdrawing, and you receive a refund of the rest; and
- you receive the refund within 14 days of telling us, to your original payment method.
This right is in addition to everything else on this page and cannot be removed by any other term. Other consumer rights under the law of your country also continue to apply.
To be confirmed counsel to confirm whether business customers are excluded from withdrawal, whether Paddle's buyer terms already provide a 14-day refund that should be referenced, and the wording of the model withdrawal information and form for EU/UK consumers.
