Getting started with PhotoPostman

Create your account, verify your email and set up your first event in a few minutes.

Updated 4 November 2026

PhotoPostman delivers the photos, videos and audio messages from your events to your clients, in a gallery that carries your brand. This guide takes you from sign-up to your first test gallery.

1. Create your account

  1. Go to photopostman.com/app/signup.
  2. Enter your email address, a password and your business name, and choose the language you want to use the dashboard in.
  3. Marketing emails are optional. The box is unticked, and you can sign up without it. You'll still receive the service emails your account needs, such as verification and expiry notices.

2. Verify your email

We send you a verification link. Your 30-day trial starts when you verify your email, not when you sign up, and the dashboard shows the exact date your trial ends. No card is needed.

If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then request a new link from the sign-in page.

3. Follow the checklist

Your dashboard shows a short checklist with a link to each step you haven't finished yet:

  • Add your branding: your logo, colours and a cover image. See Add your branding.
  • Create an event: give it a name, date and time zone. See Create your first event.
  • Choose privacy: we recommend a password for every gallery. See Sharing, passwords and access.
  • Add some test files and open the guest preview to see exactly what your clients will see.

4. Try it before a real event

Before your first live event, run through the whole journey once:

  1. Create a test event and upload a few files of each kind you deliver (photos, GIFs, videos, audio).
  2. Download the event's QR code, print a test strip and scan it with a couple of phones. See QR codes for your prints.
  3. Open the gallery on your phone as a guest, unlock it with the password and download a file.

What the trial includes

The trial includes 2 events, 5GB of hosted files and 5GB of new uploads in total, files of up to 1GB each, and 5 transfers. Galleries use a PhotoPostman address and show a small "Delivered with PhotoPostman" credit. See Trial, plans and usage for the full list.
