Upload in your browser
- Open the event and go to the Media tab.
- Drag files onto the page, or choose Upload and select them.
- Pick the section they belong to, for example Booth photos.
Large files are uploaded in parts. If your connection drops, the upload can resume from where it stopped instead of starting again. Keep the tab open until uploads finish.
What happens to each file
Each file shows a status, so you always know where it is:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Waiting | Queued on your device |
| Uploading | Being sent to PhotoPostman |
| Processing | Received and checked. Previews and players are being made |
| Ready | Visible in the gallery (if publishing is on and the file isn't hidden) |
| Original only | The original can be downloaded, but no preview could be made. See Supported file types |
| Failed | Something went wrong. The status tells you what, and whether a retry will help |
A file appears in the gallery only after it has been fully received, checked and safely processed. A half-uploaded file is never shown to guests.
Your allowance
Before an upload starts, we reserve space for it, so several devices uploading at once can't go over your plan. A retry of the same file is never counted twice. If you're near a limit, the dashboard tells you before you upload. See Trial, plans and usage.
Live uploads from your booth (coming soon)
The PhotoPostman uploader for Windows and Mac will watch your booth's output folder and upload new files automatically during the event. It's in development and will be released after the web platform. When it's ready, you'll find it under Upload app in the dashboard.
Automatic retries aren't the same as offline access. If the venue has no internet connection, new files can't reach guests until the connection returns.
