PhotoPostman is for delivering event media, such as photo booth pictures, videos and audio messages, to the people at an event. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to customers, and to anyone who opens a PhotoPostman gallery or transfer.
1. Content you must not upload or share
- Child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualises or exploits children. We remove it, preserve evidence and report it to the relevant authorities.
- Intimate images or recordings of a person shared without their consent.
- Content that is illegal where it is shared, or that promotes terrorism or violent extremism.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Content that harasses, threatens, defames or reveals private information to harm a person.
- Malware, or files designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to systems. Executable programs and dangerous script types are blocked.
2. Respecting the people in your media
Event media shows real people, often including children. You must:
- have the permissions the law requires to photograph, record and share the people in your media, and follow your client's instructions;
- tell guests how their photos and recordings will be shared, for example with a sign at the booth or a note in the gallery;
- use password protection or organiser-only access where an event is private. Remember that unlisted links can be forwarded;
- never print an organiser link on a public print or QR code; and
- act promptly on reasonable requests from people who want media of themselves hidden or removed.
3. Using the service fairly
PhotoPostman is designed for event delivery, not as a general file host. You must not:
- use galleries, transfers or media links as a public file-sharing site, a content delivery network for another website or app, or for embedding or hotlinking media elsewhere at scale;
- create several accounts or trials to get more free allowance, or otherwise get around plan limits, quotas or rate limits;
- resell or sublicense PhotoPostman access without our written agreement;
- send spam, or use our service emails to contact people who did not ask for your delivery;
- scrape, overload or disrupt the service, or try to access other customers' data;
- probe, scan or test our security without our written permission. If you have found a problem, please report it to support@photopostman.com; or
- use PhotoPostman for face recognition, biometric identification, or covert surveillance of people.
4. Recipients
If you receive a gallery or transfer link, you may view and download only what the sender allows. Do not try to get around passwords, expiry or download settings, and respect the privacy of the other people at the event.
5. What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove or disable content, links, galleries or accounts, as described in section 16 of our Terms of Service. We act proportionately, explain our reasons where we can, and you can reply or object. We report illegal content to authorities where the law requires it or where someone's safety is at risk.
