La version française de cette page arrive bientôt. En attendant, voici la version anglaise.

Getting started

Create your first event

Set up an event gallery before the party, so its QR code is ready for your prints.

Updated 4 November 2026

Each event has its own gallery, privacy settings, QR code and expiry date. Create it before you design your prints, so you can put its permanent QR code on them.

Create the event

  1. In the dashboard, open Events and choose New event.
  2. Enter the event name your guests will see, for example "Sofia & Daniel's wedding".
  3. Set the date and time zone. The time zone is used for the date shown to guests and for expiry times, so pick the zone where the event takes place.
  4. Choose who can see the gallery. Password-protected is the recommended default. See Sharing, passwords and access.
  5. Choose the event's language. This is the language guests see. It can be different from your own dashboard language, so you can manage the event in English and deliver it in French.

The event screen

An event has six tabs:

Tab What you do there
Media Upload files, organise them into sections, reorder and hide files
Sharing & privacy Access mode, password, downloads, sharing and the organiser link
Sources Where files come from: browser uploads, the desktop uploader (coming soon) or a cloud folder (coming soon)
QR Download the permanent QR code and its short web address
Delivery Send the gallery link to the organiser and download a complete copy
Expiry When the gallery closes, and what happens to the files afterwards

Sections

Sections keep a mixed event tidy, for example Booth photos, 360 videos and Audio messages. Guests can switch between sections and filter by media type, and the order you choose is kept.

Before any files arrive

As soon as the event exists, its gallery and QR code work. Until the first files are published, guests see your cover image, the event name and a friendly waiting message — never an empty grid or sample photos.

Pause publishing

On the Sharing & privacy tab you can pause public publishing at any time. Uploads continue in the background, and nothing new appears to guests until you turn publishing back on. This is useful if you want to check files before guests see them.
